"This hidden gem felt like stepping into a cozy German tavern of yesteryear. The ambiance leaned old-fashioned with its dim lighting and wood paneling, and the service had a charmingly rustic touch. Though not the pinnacle of modern efficiency, it added to the authentic experience. But oh, the food! From the melt-in-your-mouth Ox checke to the hearty, flavorful deer, each dish was a delicious celebration of German cuisine. The portions were ok and the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. Try the Männle Spätburgunder Red wine, it really nicely accompanies the German food. Plus, major props for having EV charging stations right outside - eco-friendly bonus points! While the atmosphere might not be everyone's cup of tea, for those seeking a taste of traditional German comfort food, this place hits the spot. Just be prepared for a laid-back, old-world experience to complement the exceptional cuisine. I give it 4 stars, with an extra point for the delicious food and EV charging!"

"A beautifull place to be in Gernesbach near Baden Baden. Bus 244 is very practical : 10 mns away from Caracalla spa. 10 mns away from Gernesbach train station ( bahnhof). 20 mns away from the center of Baden Baden. U can also take bus 205 from baden baden to merkur for a hiking & if u go there don't miss waldcafé. Restaurent at the hotel is delicious ... All was perfect ... clean ... personel very peaceful and respectful. U got a free bus ride from the hotel all long the stay. Lichtentaler Allee is magical . Banleela thai massage (aroma) is amazing. Try to go at least once to Bôckeler. Amadeus restaurant also is a must. Radeberger beer is so good. Ps: if u are a city person u should keep it calm . Everything in baden baden is slow ... night life is almost absent"

"Absolutely phenomenal food, nothing unusual, very traditional but exceptional. Many rooms with a simple atmosphere but you need a reservation as every room is packed with guests every night of the week. Ask for a quieter place or smaller room in advance if you require it. Parking located right infront with w playground for kids on warmer days."
